Pursuing her passion for interior design & architecture she established MARE DC in 2011, with the mission to bring the best of design and quality materials into Costa Rica.
She strongly believes that the best is yet to come, working hard and being consistent with her values. She gets an extra help trusting her intuition.
She has a BA in Advertising and an MBA in Finance, Economics & Sustainable Development from INCAE Business School. She is also an active member of the Board of Directors of ProParques and former member of CRUSA.
María Del Mar enjoys MTB, hiking, diving, flying, meditating and cooking healthy food at home or during her travels. Nature is her temple and main source of inspiration.
Cesar Acuña
Architect specialized in interior design. Cesar is always willing to give the extra mile in order to satisfy the most demanding clients.
Detail oriented and with a natural creative ability, he makes sure every space we design resonates with the clients lifestyle and needs.
He is aware about the importance of maintaining aesthetics, while considering the technical aspects of each material, in order to provide long lasting architectural solutions.
Cesar has been with MARE since 2016 and has received vast training, from our international suppliers, in the best practices available in the market.
Passionate about nature, traveling and photography which he seeks as a source of inspiration for his designs.
Kristal Echeverría
Talkative and outgoing would be as she describes herself, Kristal is our Business Development Representative. Her love for Communications & Public Relations made her the perfect person to expand our business focusing on the Coastal regions.
After living in United Arab Emirates for a decade, she settled in Guanacaste, Costa Rica´s northern province with her dog Martina.
Kristal loves traveling, she has visited over 75 countries and keeps counting. On her time off she likes to spend time at the beach, cooking for her friends and family and exercising.
Salvador Solorzano
Extremely loyal and helpful. Salvador is the Head of Installation at MARE. He never ceased to impressed with his wit and willingness to learn new things.
Throughout his10 years at MARE he has obtained specialized training in the installation of our product portfolio.
He has a background in construction which gives him the correct perspective to solve the challenges the industry implies.
His humbleness and willingness to do acts of service, for the people that surrounds him, makes him a true team player.
